Well, it's October. I'll be 24 in a couple of weeks so it's time of noting how things change. I see many new faces on the campus, some old faces that are continuing studies on higher levels (doing really neat stuff) and some old faces still on the benches (we love them most, no?).
So I'm telling myself I'll have to study more this year so we can finish in the foreseeable future. On the other hand, if I finish, will I be able to sustain higher tuition fees for the Specialization or will I be able to find a decent job and without bureaucratic difficulties, ecc. ecc.
Bibi managed to get into some course for economists sponsored by the Region, I think, so that's a good thing that she's doing. Really excited about that and I hope it'll bring her some good experience and contacts. I am dedicating this semester to (almost) clean up 3rd year and to math lessons. If I find the time I'll do some cleaning-up on the project I did for Tecnologie Web (which did really good) and I'll post it in on the http://www.sigmalab.net site. It's a small MVC (Model-View-Control) framework example (Model 2) of a web gallery code name jspArt. It's not done with any of the frameworks available like Struts or Tapestry since I implemented it on my own using information mostly from the excellent book from O'Reilly "Java Server Pages" by Hans Bergsten. I hope to do some UML to show the structure and explain it's use. The DB part should be refactored since I had no DB modeling experience at the time plus there is a lot of room for improvement. I'll do the TO-DO list when I publish it.
PS. Send me gifts :)))
PPS. Just kidding.
